During your dental appointment, if Dr. Basrai spots any signs of decay that may be problematic, he will most likely recommend a porcelain filling be placed as soon as possible.  Once your filling is placed, you shouldn’t have any more problems with decay in that particular tooth assuming you are exercising good home care. 

For patients with older metal fillings, Dr. Basrai can remove silver (amalgam) fillings and replace them with white, tooth coloured fillings.
